I know we were shooting for March 1 on memberships. In light of the recent tragedy for the Rogers family, I have decided to move the date out one week out of respect for the family. We will have final rule book out this week, and memberships will begin March 8th.
2021 Battle Schedule is out!
Round 1 – Malvern, May 21-23
Round 2 – Briarcliff, June 4-6
Round 3 – Chillitown, July 9-11
Round 4 – Pleasure Valley, August 27-29
We will be TEAMING up with the tracks that are apart of Race Ohio and PAMX on memberships and accepting either OMA, PAMX, or Race Ohio/Buckeye Series memberships at the Battle Rounds this year. You will need to purchase one of those memberships, if you show up at a track without it, you will be purchasing an OMA membership at sign up. It is still an Ohio State Championship Series for AMA No.1 plates, but it is gravitating toward a regional series. Now it really is North vs South vs Invader, as we will see the first ever OMA vs Buckeye vs PAMX Clash!
We are adding a grand finale event to the OMA Schedule! The 2020 season will now end at Route 62 on October 31 & Nov 1. They are running this as a battle format, it will count for DOUBLE overall points! More details to come.
OMA Faircross Update. Unfortunately the large majority of County Fairs are cancelling all grandstand events. With that in mind we have received word from Holmes, Ashland, and the Tuscarawas Fair Boards that we will not be having Faircross races at those fairgrounds this year. These events will not be rescheduled…..I know someone will ask.The Summit County Faircross will count for OMA Overall points only.
Huge thanks to everyone that made the 6th annual OMA Banquet such a huge success. But its definitely not just me and Jason putting this together. Its a crew. Prior to the event, we have Connie Sickels coordinating all of the RSVPs even through the holidays, she is a super trooper. We also have amazing sponsors stepping up. Mid-Ohio Powersports, WPS/Fly Racing, Tucker Powersports/Ansr Racing, 100%, Rocky Mountain, Sunstar, Ripped Vinyl, Wholesale Cycle/Pirahana Pitbikes, Rock Auto, SRS Suspension and Rusty Riders helped us get things together. On Friday, which is setup day, we had Tina Rogers, Connie Sickels, Wendy Johnson, Nate Fugit, Amanda Toth, Austin Clark, Patty Burwell, Haley Freeman, Luke Henry, and Dave Hoover. And then on Saturday, many of the people from Friday, and then include Cara Kinsey Allison Osborn, Jim Green, Bobby Noah, Whitney Bingham, Lynne, Jessica, and Jarrett Strouble, and Jason Rogers. If I missed anyone, yell at me, I’m sorry. We did the best that we could, I think it went well overall, and the kids had an amazing time, which is really what this is about.

Due to the severity of the Winter Weather Storm that we have arriving in Ohio on Saturday, January 19, 2019, we feel that for the safety of everyone, we are rescheduling the 2018 OMA Banquet for February 2, 2019. This was a very difficult decision. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes for our members.
If you purchased tickets, aka the OMA Banquet Pass, it was sent through email to you. Please bring that banquet pass with you to use as admittance to the event on the new date, February 2, 2019. If you feel you haven’t received your confirmation and banquet pass, please check your junk mail for the email. It is titled “2018 OMA Banquet Ticket Pass” and is from my “email@example.com” email address.
I have updated the faircross requirements to award the top 5 at the banquet for the faircross series, which is effective today, prior to the start of the faircross series.
Also, one of our tracks has been granted an opportunity to partner with a huge sponsor, which is great, but unfortunately the schedules did not mesh very well. Due to conflicts and overlapping dates within the Kames Night Series and the new Iron Pony Series, Route 62 will not be able to remain in the Kames Night Series for the OMA. Malvern will be picking up their 3 dates for the Kames Night Series on July 29, Sept 2, and September 30. Malvern will be running their Kames/Super Series event on September 2nd as well. No hard feelings with the OMA and Route 62, and we can revisit the possibility of running events there in 2018. Opportunities came up for him, and that’s a good thing, but not everything is meant to work out. I want to apologize for the late change of schedule, but this is the best solution given the situation at hand.
East Fork, Dirt Country, and Mx 213 have left the OMA. Dirt Country and East Fork will be apart of a new series due to proximity. Mx213 has left to pursue their own races. So our North South series idea has taken on water and is sinking. Jason and I feel that we are best to keep running the Wiseco Super Series instead of forcing a north south. It would be very lopsided in terms of number of races to the north. Tv Land and Western Reserve has decided to only run bikes this season, they will be running all classes on Sundays. Amherst is running all bikes and quads in Sunday. Races at BC and Chilli Town will be Battle format like 2016. Malvern’s Season Opener, which is a Wiseco Super Series, will run quads and bikes on Sunday. Malvern’s Battle race will be Battle format. Route 62 has three Saturday night events, both bikes and quads will run on Saturday. Summit Indoors which is coming up quick will run the same program as 2016, bikes and quads in each race night!
